SFO Employee Parking Structure

This project involved the development of a new eight-level parking facility for employees at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Project elements included 1,722 vehicle stalls, new sidewalks around the perimeter, and an on-grade parking area. The structure was a cast-in-place, post-tensioned, long-span system with a pre-cast concrete pile foundation, and was constructed near an active operational airport roadway.

Services Provided: This project was managed by an integrated team with the San Francisco Department of Public Works. The Allen Group provided construction management services, including project controls, quality control/quality assurance, monitoring construction progress and schedules, evaluating progress payments, preparing daily/monthly/quarterly reports, negotiating with the contractor, monitoring safety programs, and coordinating completion of start-up, punchlists, and closeout.
