This project consisted of performing a seismic retrofit to the Coliseum and Fruitvale BART Station structures. The scope of work included reinforcement of the bent caps, piers, foundations, and escalator truss as well as the construction of new breakrooms.

Services Provided: The Allen Group provided construction management services, including a Resident Engineer, field engineer, and inspectors who oversaw the project’s day-to-day operations in all phases of construction, through final project closeout and occupancy. The Allen Group also provided community outreach for the project. The RE worked with BART project management staff to provide design management, and construction management and administration. Those services included: effective project communications, record keeping, meeting coordination, document control, thorough cost and quality management, and scheduling oversight.
