The Allen Group, LLC is an African-American woman-owned firm established in 1989 by LaVerda O. Allen, who founded it on the principle that small local, minority businesses can deliver quality and value on major projects equal to that provided by the largest firms in the engineering-construction industry. Always focused on where we can bring added-value to clients, we have built a business that provides a full range of project and construction management services for prominent, complex civil infrastructure projects nationwide.

The Allen Group has successfully completed more than 60 projects over the past 35 years, and has gained a reputation among both private and public sector clients for accountability and excellent performance.

Long since graduated from the disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) program, today we serve on projects predominantly as a prime in partnership with small and large firms alike, and with an emphasis on helping small and DBE firms grow their business.
