Project Description:  This project, located in Concord, CA, involved the demolition of the existing turntable and the installation of a new turntable. The new turntable was fabricated in Australia and assembled in the US. The project also included supplying power to new the turntable from an existing power source. 

Services Provided: The Allen Group worked closely with BART management and stakeholders to provide a full range of construction management services, including contract administration; document control; preparing, negotiating, and processing change orders; processing RFIs and submittals; processing payment applications; overseeing quality assurance and quality control; reviewing and analyzing schedules and project costs. Services also included: cost estimating changes; coordinating with BART departments and facility end users; coordinating right-of-way and operating envelope construction access; coordinating with Designer to resolve issues; supporting participating small businesses to resolve contract issues; labor compliance; community relations; and project activation, commissioning, and closeout.
